Dispatch Plan
Introduction
This article explains how Dispatch Plan works in ERP One.
Dispatch Plan Grid
- The Grid will show Plan No, Plan Date, Order Details and other information as shown in the above image.
- The status will be automatically maintained by System. When the qty is invoiced, the status will be updated to Invoiced
- Once the status has changed to Invoiced you may not delete the Plan record.
Create New Dispatch Plan
- When you click [Add], from the Plan Grid you will be taken to the Create Dispatch Plan page.
- You need to specify either System Order No / PO No to get a list of pending orders as shown in the screenshot.
* You can Select a particular line to create a Dispatch Plan record.
* Only orders with pending qty will be available while creating a new plan.
* System will take you to the page as shown below.
You need to key in only :-
- Planned Date<
- Qty to be dispatched
Transporter
When you click [Save] your plan will get added to the Plan Grid.
- Any order with pending qty, which is already linked to a Dispatch Plan, will NOT be available, when you create a new plan record.
- Let us take an example. Suppose pending qty is 500 units and it is linked to an existing plan number 20. When you go to create a fresh plan, this order line will not be available for selection, as it is already planned.
Editing / Deleting Sales Orders
- You may not modify the order qty, status etc. in a sales order after it is connected to a Dispatch Plan.
- Also Deletion of sales order will not be allowed if it is connected to a Dispatch Plan.
Standard Packing
- In the Inventory Master you can capture standard packing information.
- The Dispatch Plan would make use of standard packing parameter defined in Inventory Master, to work out the number of boxes.
Pick Invoice Qty from Dispatch Plan
- While adding invoice qty, if there is any live Dispatch Plan, System will fetch details from those plans only. Pending Orders will not be scanned in this case.
- Please note the qty to be invoiced is taken from the Dispatch Plan itself. It can not be modified.
Edit / Delete Dispatch Plans
- Once a plan is saved, you may not edit it. You may, however, Delete it and create it afresh, if required.
- After a plan qty is invoiced, you can not delete the Dispatch Plan.
- Suppose you add a Plan record and also create the necessary invoice in the System. Subsequently, if you delete the invoice, the status of the Plan would be updated back as Planned.
